Sarah Melissa Goss, BA Environmental Ethics, Indiana University

Sarah Melissa Goss is the founder and director of the National Council for Science and Faith (NCSF). She is an environmental ethicist and geologist with a vision of encouraging green and sustainable design in all aspects of communities, from neighborhoods and schools to factories and farms. She has expertise in green design including sustainability science, bioethics, energy efficiency, environmental policy, ecology, and systems thinking. She believes in the integration of science and everyday life, including encouraging the acceptance of science in faith communities. Concurrent with her management of the NCSF, she is a Sam H. Jones Service Learning Research Scholar and completing two graduate degrees in Geology and in Bioethics at Indiana University.
